The Transportation Department is responsible for communicating information about student bussing, currently delivered by our partner Standard Bus Contracting Ltd. Eligibility
School buses will only be provided to students living outside the city boundaries. Those students living within Terrace city boundaries should consult the Terrace Regional Transit System for scheduling information and rates at 250-635-2666 or at Where To Buy - Terrace.
In Kitimat, contact the Kitimat Regional Transit System for scheduling and passes at 250-632-4449. Students within Kitimat ride for free but require a pass obtained at Where to Buy - Kitimat .

Current Students: Applications for the 2026/2027 school year were due May 31, 2026. Please submit your application as soon as possible. Late applications are subject to being placed on a waitlist and seats on the bus are not guaranteed to be available.

Student Transportation Cards
Students will be assigned a transportation card aka Bus Pass each September. They will receive this card through their school. This card is to be used each time they board the bus. For complete details, access the Student Transportation Cards Procedure.

Parents and caregivers, should you have questions or concerns regarding bus routes:
1. Contact your child’s School Principal.
2. Contact the Operations Manager of Standard Bus Contracting Ltd. at 250-635-7042 or 1-855-538-5287 (for out of town) – office hours are 6:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
3. The School District’s Transportation Department at 250-638-4418 during office hours – 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday or email transportation@cmsd.bc.ca.
